A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked in the Iranian embassy in London between Iran and a major British company to construct 60 new cancer centres around the country and to develop and renew more 40 centres.
According to this MoU the major healthcare project will cost about 1.8 billion Euros when completed and cover the needs for cancer treatments with the newest technology in this field.
International Hospitals Group - IHG, a major global health company based in Hertfordshire, UK will finance the project which also consist of upgrading and modernisation of current facilities and education of Iranian staff.
